This is very good news because after all the difficulties the opening is approaching and we will finally be able to enjoy and relax in those wooden ofuros filled with warm water, hops, malt and beer while we drink a fresh draft Belgian beer that we can serve ourselves from the tap next to our beer bath.
I am so looking forward! I have my voucher and will book my session as soon as the Good Beer Spa web page opens the calendar again. I understand the Beer Spa waits for the announcement of the new covid measures in Belgium on the 25th of April before opening their calendar now because they had to close it before due to lock down a couple of times.
Anyway, after several difficulties, not only Covid, I have known that also material was stolen from the Good Beer Spa during the works, technical difficulties have appeared several times during the last months... finally, now everything is on track to open very soon.
The place is going to be amazing, they are doing incredible artisanal work, the wooden platform is like a beautiful 3D wooden puzzle where all the pieces are cut on measure and placed carefully to build a wooden platform to access the ofuros. The gift shop is going to count with a recycled variation of elements, all sanded and treated by hand with a lot of care. I have seen it ;-)
