Modeste Beer Festival in Antwerp on 1st and 2nd October 2022
Every year the first weekend of October De Koninck brewery organises the Modeste Beer Festival in De Koninck (Antwerp).
The ambiance is always great, there is a part inside and a part outside in a big beer garden for the occasion. So it is a festival for everybody, couples, groups of friends, families, singles...you do not need to pay a ticket to come in so you can also just pass by to see the ambiance and have a beer or meet there with your friends to start your Saturday night out, or pass by with your child before the Sunday lunch. Everybody is welcome!
It is also the cheapest beer festival in Belgium, both for beer lovers and breweries. So believe me, it is worthy to spend the day :-) I really invite you to come to Antwerp this year for a few beers in the Modeste. It will take place on the 1st and 2nd of October and there will be more than 30 breweries with many beers each for you to taste.
This year the novelty is a Brewing competition live during the festival. If you want to participate with your team, you are still in time to register.
You can also take the opportunity to visit the brewery. I have visited it a few years ago on the occasion of the Modeste Bier Festival and the visit was really good. I was lucky because it was also a monuments day when some old factories could be visited and our visit was special. We could see the old and new parts of the brewery.
I will for sure be there tasting beers and visiting the Good Beer stand for some new beer goodies :-)
